About the business:

Australian-owned company producing quality manufactured sands made from 100% recycled glass. Using innovative recycling technology developed at our Pinkenba manufacturing plant we recover glass waste previously destined for landfill, converting it into a valuable glass powder.

About the role:
We are currently seeking an all-round factory worker to commence work within our operations. Training will be provided as required depending on level of competency.

Looking for an applicant who is hard working, responsible, reliable and flexible with a strong focus on safety. You will be expected to be involved with the day-to-day tasks that will involve basic equipment maintenance and cleaning duties.

It is also expected that part of the factory worker role will include the operation of a forklift and a telehandler in a loader context. Telehandler duties would include loading the primary feed for two sections of the plant, stockpile management and loading trucks with the finished product.

Essential Requirements:
Forklift licence
Current driver’s license and reliable transport
Be physically fit
Current resume with two recent and contactable work references
Strong focus on safety and quality

Advantageous Skills/Qualifications:
EWP, Confined Spaces tickets
Construction induction card
Previous experience and/or exposure to crushing and/or screening operations
Willingness to learn new skills
Attention to detail

May be subject to:
National police check (less than 12 months old) or ability to obtain one

$30++ Per / Hour
