วันศุกร์ที่ 4 ธันวาคม 2558 เวลา 19.00 น. นายจิระชัย ปั้นกระษิณ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา เป็นประธานในพิธีจุดเทียนชัยถวายพระพรชัยมงคล เฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว 88 พรรษา ที่ ศาลาไทย สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ มีข้าราชการสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ทีมประเทศไทย ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา และครอบครัว ชุมชนไทย และชาวต่างประเทศที่เป็น Friends of Thailand ร่วมงานประมาณ 350 คน ภายในงานได้จัดฉายภาพยนตร์สั้นเฉลิมพระเกียรติเรื่อง “คำอธิษฐาน” และ “ยายบุญมา” ด้วย

On the 4 December 2015, at 7:00 PM, H.E. Mr. Chirachai Punkrasin, Ambassador of Thailand, hosted His Majesty the King’s 88th Birthday Celebration Ceremony, at Sala Thai, Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra. Team Thailand officials, Thai community, Friends of Thailand, attended the ceremony and dinner. The Embassy also screened 2 short films in honour of His Majesty the King at the event.
