สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา จะจัดกิจกรรม Bike for Dad เพื่อถวายพระเกียรติแด่พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว เนื่องในโอกาสมหามงคลเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 88 พรรษา 5 ธันวาคม 2558 ในวันศุกร์ที่ 11 ธันวาคม 2558 ระหว่างเวลา 15.00 – 17.00 น.
โดยมีเส้นทางปั่นจักรยานรอบ Lake Burley Griffin (Central Basin) ระยะทาง 5.5 กิโลเมตร เริ่มต้นที่ Westside Acton Park ผ่าน landmark ต่าง ๆ ของกรุงแคนเบอร์รา ได้แก่ Nerang Pool, Captain Cook Memorial Jet, Blundells’ Cottage, National Carillon ข้ามสะพาน King’s Avenue ผ่าน National Gallery of Australia, High Court of Australia ข้ามสะพาน Commonwealth Avenue และสิ้นสุดที่ Westside Acton Park
จึงขอประชาสัมพันธ์เชิญชวนชาวไทยและครอบครัว พร้อมเพื่อนต่างชาติ (Friends of Thailand) ที่พำนักในรัฐต่าง ๆ ของออสเตรเลีย เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมสำคัญครั้งนี้ โดยสามารถลงทะเบียนได้ตั้งแต่บัดนี้ เพื่อเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม และรับเสื้อ Bike for Dad พร้อมของอื่น ๆ (ของมีจำนวนจำกัด)

14:30-15:00 - Arrival of “Bike for Dad” participant / Registration at Westside Acton Park
15:00 - H.E. Mr. Chirachai Punkrasin, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, presides over the ceremony to pay respect to H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej – Group photo session
15:09 - Start biking from Westside Acton Park. A distance of 5.5 km along the route (45-60 minutes)
16:09 - Arrival at the finish line at Westside Acton Park – Group photo session – Refreshment
17:00 - End of Programme

The Royal Thai Embassy, Canberra invites you and your family to join the “Bike for Dad” event which will be held to celebrate His Majesty the King’s 88th birthday (5 December 2015) on Friday 11th December 2015 from 15.00 to 17.00. This 5.5km loop along Lake Burley Griffin (Central Basin) starts from Westside Acton Park, passing Canberra landmarks such as Nerang Pool, Captain Cook Memorial Jet, Blundells’ Cottage, National Carillon, crossing Kings Avenue Bridge and Commonwealth Avenue Bridge passing the National Gallery of Australia and High Court of Australia, and finishes at Westside Acton Park. Register now to join the event and receive a Bike for Dad T-shirt and other items for the event (limited number available).
