เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมสัมมนาโอกาสการลงทุนในไทย “Why Thailand? Opportunities for Australian businesses”

"เมื่อวันที่ 3 และ 5 สิงหาคม 2559 นายจิระชัย ปั้นกระษิณ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมสัมมนาโอกาสการลงทุนในไทย “Why Thailand? Opportunities for Australian businesses” จัดโดยสำนักงานเศรษฐกิจการลงทุน ณ นครซิดนีย์ ที่นครแอดิเลด รัฐเซาท์ออสเตรเลีย และนครซิดนีย์ รัฐนิวเซาท์เวลส์ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ กล่าวเปิดงานและร่วมเป็น panellist ในช่วงกิจกรรมถาม-ตอบ เพื่อสร้างความเชื่อมั่นและให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับโอกาสและลู่ทางการลงทุนในประเทศไทยแก่นักธุรกิจและนักลงทุนชาวออสเตรเลีย โดยนาย Martin Hamilton-Smith รมว.การค้าการลงทุนรัฐเซาท์ออสเตรเลีย ได้ร่วมกล่าวในพิธีเปิดงานสัมมนาที่นครแอดิเลด ซึ่งมีกลุ่มเป้าหมายได้แก่นักธุรกิจและนักลงทุนจากรัฐเซาท์ออสเตรเลีย โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มผู้ประกอบการจากอุตสาหกรรมไวน์และผลิตภัณฑ์จากองุ่น อุตสาหกรรมอาหารและธุรกิจการเกษตร ธุรกิจการศึกษา ธุรกิจ healthcare and age care รวมถึงอุปกรณ์อิเล็กทรอนิกส์ เป็นต้น ทั้งนี้ มีนักธุรกิจบางส่วนเพิ่งเดินทางกลับจากการเยือนสิงคโปร์ มาเลเซีย และไทย เพื่อหาโอกาสทางธุรกิจและการลงทุน (ภายใต้โครงการ South East Asia Business Mission ระหว่างวันที่ 24-31 กรกฎาคม 2559 จัดโดยรัฐบาลรัฐเซาท์ออสเตรเลีย) เข้าร่วมด้วย การจัดงานสัมมนาในครั้งนี้ สอดรับกับความต้องการของกลุ่มนักธุรกิจดังกล่าวที่ประสงค์ขอรับข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับการลงทุนในไทย งานสัมมนาทั้งสองแห่งมีผู้เข้าร่วมงานแห่งละประมาณ 50 คน "

Ambassador of Thailand, attended a seminar “Why Thailand? Opportunities for Australian businesses

"On 3 and 5 August 2016 Mr. Chirachai Punkrasin, Ambassador of Thailand, attended a seminar “Why Thailand? Opportunities for Australian businesses”, organized by Thailand Board of Investment, Sydney Office. The seminar focused on the benefits of relocating or expanding business to Thailand to reap the benefits of lower operational costs whilst retaining the high quality production output, as well as the locational advantages. Each seminar was attended by around 50 participants. The seminar in Adelaide was attended by the business people from many sectors including wine, agribusiness, education, healthcare and age care, as well as electronics. Many of the attendees had just come back from the trip to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand as part of the South East Asia Business Mission organized by the South Australian Government. They attended this seminar to further their interest in doing business and investing in Thailand. Hon. Martin Hamilton-Smith, MP, Minister for Investment and Trade of the South Australian Government, also participated in the seminar in Adelaide and was one of the speakers at the opening ceremony of the seminar."
